Dr. Vera Dooley earned a degree in Dentistry in Eastern Europe, where she practiced pediatric dentistry in a non-profit government clinic for three years before attending dental school at the University of Southern California. After this, she attended a General Practice Residency at the LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, focusing on advanced topics in General Dentistry such as E.R. and Urgent dental care, anesthesiology, and special patient procedures.
Dr. Dooley recently settled in the Placerville area after travelling for many years with her husband Matt during his military assignments. Matt retired from the U.S. Air Force recently, where he served as a pilot and a foreign area officer. During Matt’s service, Vera got the chance to live in and travel to a variety of places, including Germany, Korea, Turkmenistan, Hawaii, St. Louis, Biloxi, Monterey, and many others. However, they’ve decided that El Dorado County was the best place to settle down and raise their three boys.
In her spare time, Dr. Dooley enjoys gardening and spending time outdoors.
